I know all you trendy mommies are familar with the super fun and functional Bugaboo strollers and other products which are great for moms on the go. Magnets go Vintage
Happy Labor Day! While you are all enjoying some family time on this great holiday - we thought we'd get in a quick feature of a great little company, Kiss My Style. They have some really great finds. We recently received one of these Vintage Red Magnet Sets - and love it! Refrigerators these days are full of kid drawings and invitations and if you're like my house even bills that need to be paid. I've got an assortment of kid-made magnets and some barnyard animals and the entire alphabet on my refrig...so it was super nice to receive these wonderful beautiful magnets to display on the refrig. I cleared off the top corner of the freezer door above the ice/water dispenser and have these sitting up there all by themselves! Gives me a little reminder of who I am (or who I once was) Organized, Fun, & Funky. Check them out - these little magnets come all wrapped in a cute little tin - would make a great teacher gift or a fun little pick me-up to give to friends when they're having a rough time.

101 Uses for a Bridesmaid Dress
This past weekend I was cruising the aisles of our local Costco and decided to take a peek at the dvd section. Well, I grabbed the movie 27 dresses because I thought it was a cute movie and it came with a free book - 101 Uses for a Bridesmaid Dress. So to inspire you all to get out those sewing scissors and get those creative juices flowing....here are 5 of my favorite ideas from the book (the book was written to poke fun at the sometimes horrendous dresses we have been asked to wear so many times and the silly things you could do with them - the illustrations to match the suggestions are great - you can totally see some of the dresses you might just have in your own closet).
1) Turn it into a matching beach umbrella & hat
2) Fashion part of it into a stylish sleep mask for your next long flight.
3) Give the dress another chance - wear it to your next IRS audit --- maybe they'll take pity on you.
4) Make your husband some golf club covers (WE HOPE THEY WERE KIDDING W/ THIS ONE!!!! ~ how ridiculous would that be??)
5) Make a lovely baby carriage for the new mother. (Are they kidding....talk about too much work!)

BEACH BABY!
Can we say summer vacation?!?! We're dreaming of the beach and while our summer trip is still a few months away - we went ahead and started looking for the perfect beach tote.
