Are you still looking for some great gifts to give this holiday season? We recently had the opportunity to review the new 3D Virtual World: My First Adventure by JumpStart. Holiday Gift Idea #1: Special Keepsake Book

We recently had the opportunity to review this wonderfully made children's keepsake book. We cannot say enough positive things about the Personalized Storybook by http://www.custommadeforkids.com/

The book is bright and colorful and has an element of whimsy. The book is designed to be a storybook about your specific child's life. When placing your order, you get to provide answers to a few questions - which are then turned into a fabulous storybook, staring your very special and unique child. There are over 20 places in 'The First Adventures of Incredible You' where details about a child, his/her family, friends, favorite places and family traditions can be seamlessly incorporated into the rhyming verse in the book. There is also a dedication page so the child will always remember this special gift came from you.

This special gift would make a perfect Christmas present, one that your child or special loved one would treasure for years to come. Click here to check out some sample pages.

We really do recommend this product as it is wonderfully made and truly a special keepsake item --- place your order by 12/14/08 to ensure delivery in time for Christmas! ENJOY!

Giveaway: Tuthillo Lost Tooth Companion

Oh boy, you are going to LOVE this giveaway!
The super cool people over at Tuthillo, have given us one of their ever popular Lost Tooth Companions to give away to one of our readers! We are really excited about this product!

So excited in fact, that we thought about keeping it for ourselves....but we wanted to share it with all of you even more - because it is so fun! It is really soft and our little tester went absolutely CRAZY over it! You can't help but fall in love with this goofy little thing!

So you might be asking what is a Lost Tooth Companion? It's a lifesaver for all you parents out there who have almost gotten 'caught' sneaking into your child's room at night pretending to be the Tooth Fairy. This new twist on the old tooth pillow is super fun and sure to make your child giggle. It's a little silly looking and comes in vibrant colors sure to get your child to show you that toothless grin.

You see that gap in the teeth? The Lost Tooth Companion has two 'hidden' pockets (they aren't really hidden, but they aren't really visible unless you know they are there). The smaller pocket is where your child puts his/her lost tooth and the other larger pocket is for the tooth fairy to leave a little something special, making it very easy to find in the dark!!!! Tooth Fairies around the world are cheering!

The owner, Heather Crow, embarked on the journey of creating something that would revolutionize the tooth pillow world. She wanted to create something that would altogether replace the boring square shaped little white pillow (you know the one, it's the one that is always getting lost when your child actually does lose a tooth). Somewhere along the way The Lost Tooth Companion was born - and children all over the world are loving it! The best thing about a Lost Tooth Companion is that your child can play with it all the time!

Super Fun & Super Trendy!

There are two ways to enter this CONTEST:
(contest ends at midnight on April 26th)

1) Visit the Tuthillo website and leave us a comment telling us what your favorite Tuthillo product is.

-----------------------------OR-----------------------------

2) Post something on your blog about the giveaway - make sure you mention Tuthillo, the giveaway and Trendy Mommy (links to Tuthillo and Trendy Mommy are appreciated!), and leave us a comment here with a link to your blog.

And as Heather, Tuthillo Founder & Owner, says, "From One Tooth Fairy to Another....ENJOY!"

Zoobie Pets

Does your little one need a nap blanket for Mother's Day Out or Preschool? If so - or if you just want to have something cudly to take to Grandma's - check out Zoobie Pets. It's a stuffed animal, no it's a blanket, no it's a pillow - no it's all 3. They are sooooo cute! Will You Be My Valentine?

In honor of tomorrow's special day...we have the following Valentine Cookie Pops recipe found on The Family Corner.

What you will need:
20 vanilla wafer cookies
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 6-ounce bag white chocolate chips
1 6-ounce bag semi sweet chocolate chips
colored candy sprinkles, red & white
pink and red gummy or sour patch bears
Cake decorating writer gel in green, pink, red, black, and white
1 tube each of white, red, and pink cake decorator frosting with flower tip
red food coloring
ice cream or lollipop sticks
wax paper or paper plates

Instructions: Spread peanut butter onto the flat side of the cookies. Place an ice cream stick into the peanut butter on half the cookies. Top with another cookie so the stick is sandwiched between the two cookies. See below.

Melt chocolate chips in the microwave, one minute, then in 20 second increments, stirring until smooth. Before melting, seperate the white chips into two bowls. After melting, add a few drops of red food coloring to one of the bowls of white chips to make pink chocolate.
Dip cookie pops in the melted chips, covering completely. Roll pops in red and white sprinkles and lay or stand on waxed paper or paper plates. Place in refrigerator to chill.

Decorate as you wish with the remaining items! ENJOY!

As this election year is proving to be quite the race...why not show your support in 2008 with one of these SUPER cute T's for the tot in your life. Emily Allyn, a unique clothing line features ridiculously fun designs! Check out the newly created designs, 'Little Democrat' and 'Little Republican'.

The Emily Allyn clothing line seeks to play off the adorable and humorous names we give to our kids – Peanut, Monkey, Sweet Pea, Crabby Cakes, Silly Goose, and many more. Their site is fun and interactive - pick your shirt type (onesie, short sleve, long sleve, etc.) then select your design and size...super easy and super cool.
