Chores Got Your Little One in the Dumps?

Why not make tracking chores more fun with this chore tracker created by the fun people over at My Reward Board.

So how does it work? From the My Reward Site:

The My Reward Board program emphasizes a positive approach for encouraging kids to complete their chores, achieve their goals, improve their behavior, and save their money.

New chores and goals can be added at any time, and kids mark off their own work using a cast of
engaging happy face characters. Parents can configure the program to conform to their own parenting style, controlling how frequently rewards are earned and which rewards are available. Achievement certificates - suitable for framing, or at least hanging on the refrigerator - are printed at the end of each week, and an animated piggy bank squeals in delight when allowance is earned or a savings goal has been met.

And here's our favorite part - you can get a free 15 day trial to see how it all works and if your kids are into it or not.

Mother Goose Time

Someone recently asked us what they could use to make learning fun for their 3 year old who is not yet enrolled in a traditional preschool class. So we got to work scouring the internet looking for something that was prepackaged and would include several different fun learning oriented activities....so here it is.....and please note that we haven't actually seen this product first hand.

Ever have those days where you just don't know what to do with your 2 1/2 to 5 year old? We do! You've been to the park 5 times this week, you've been to the mall play area, you've even had a lunch date with baby cakes best little friend, and all baby cakes toys have been played with to exhaustion.....so now what? Why not try out a month's curriculum from Mother Goose Time? They offer a planned preschool curriculum that will allow you to work with your child to learn new things and have a blast spending time together, all the while adding some variety to your days. Mother Goose Time has a new curriculum each month - although the site may be geared towards actual preschool classes taught outside the home....they do offer the curriculum packages for one student - $44 for a month's worth of activities. Here's what the April curriculum entails:

HUG THE EARTH:Even the youngest preschooler should practice “earthhugging habits.” The crafts and activities emphasize reducing waste, recycling, preserving energy and cleaning up litter.
AROUND THE WORLD:Experience the adventure of a visit to foreign lands in a way that combines learning with fun.
Letters: Aa; Hh; Rr
Colors: Green; Blue
Number: 6
Shape: Circle

This post has nothing to do w/ April Fools ~ it's full of yummy goodness! We must admit that we did not find Posie and Me on our own, our friends over at the Sassy Pink Boutique Blog found these great products and we're jumping on in with our own post about their adorable products! OHHHHH they are just so cute, we could EAT them up! We will definitely be ordering some of these for our own little chef to play with!

These cookies will last and measuring two inches across, they are the perfect size for little hands to feel a little bigger. This batch of six cookies, Ginger Bread Girl, Wooden Rolling Pin and real Cookie Cutter comes in the beautiful Gift Box shown here and she will love putting her play felt cookies back in this box when she is done playing.Rolling pin and cookie cutter are actual kitchen utensils so they are perfect for taking in the kitchen for baking real cookies with Mommy!

Feed Me! Change Me!

I feel like boutique bibs are all over the internet and in every swanky baby boutique in the country....so I usually refrain from posting about them....however, I must say that I have fallen in love with these. Not sure if it's the patterns that SweetDarlin Ranch uses or just the fact that they come with a matching changing pad or the ribbon that they use to tie up the changing pad...not sure - but I think they make an adorable gift to give a new mom or mommy to be....so here I am posting about them! Check out their etsy shop to see tons of fun patterns.
