The Hollywood Ranch that is!
Talk about fun! The girls at The Hollywood Ranch have created some really fun items to dress your little spunky cowpokes in. We've picked out some of our favorites but there are many other cute items available online...and if you live in or near Dallas you can visit them at one of their upcoming shows and see some of their other designs that aren't featured on their website!
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave, one minute, then in 20 second increments, stirring until smooth. Before melting, seperate the white chips into two bowls. After melting, add a few drops of red food coloring to one of the bowls of white chips to make pink chocolate.
Dip cookie pops in the melted chips, covering completely. Roll pops in red and white sprinkles and lay or stand on waxed paper or paper plates. Place in refrigerator to chill.
Decorate as you wish with the remaining items! ENJOY!
Not sure what to do this year for the summertime family vacation? Check out this book, "500 Places To Take Your Kids Before They Grow Up", by Holly Hughes. It's a nifty little book that as the title states has 500 neat places that appeal to kidos and those young at heart. Each of the 500 entries (places) has age ratings, nearby kid-friendly and fun hotels, as well as service details about the place. The book is even equipped with two indexes to make planning your next trip a snap - a geographical index (could be useful if you're vising Great Aunt Louise in Montana but want to make the trip up there fun for the kids) as well as a specialty index (good for types of trip - like amusement park or camping or museum or beach or mountain). The book retails for $19.99 on Frommers.com --- but you can get it for $12.77 at Wal-mart.
We recently ran across this amazing tree house in a magazine and just had to share it with you all. Seriously, what kid wouldn't have a blast in this tree house that comes with it's own real tree?!?! The maker of these awesome tree houses has several other designs as well. We're not sure how much this treehouse costs - but here is the website if you want to take a peek.
WOW! That's all we can say for Angelica Grace Designs, AGD! This haute couture boutique was launched in 2005 by Angie Seaman through God's grace! You can read her story here.

Too cute! Love these dresses from Hanna Andersson. The already on sale which seems a little weird to me, but hey we aren't complaining! If you haven't checked out Hanna Andersson yet, you definitely should.

We recommend the Sesame Street Table Toppers because 1) they keep your kids hands off the table that you can't be sure was disinfected from the last family that ate at the restaurant you're eating at...and 2) they can keep little munchkin occupied while you are able to quickly peruse the menu and decide on your meal for the evening. Just remember to ask every once in a while, "Where's the ball?" "Where's Elmo?" "Where's Cookie Monster?" "Point to the green" and so on. Lots of stores carry these oh so fun little stick on mats - we did a quick search and found them on amazon.com - 50 for $18.99.The following instructions on sanitizing were found on www.ehow.com.
Step One
Keep two or three different sets of toys and alternate their cleaning and sanitizing. Most babies have plenty of toys to choose from, so taking them in and out to clean and sanitize won't be a problem.
Step Two
Put the toys you wish to clean into warm soapy water and let soak for about 5 minutes. Regular dish soap is fine.
Step Three
Scrub toys after soaking to loosen dirt and grime. Germs can cling to surfaces, so scrubbing is important.
Step Four
Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residues.
Step Five
Make a sanitizing solution of ¼ cup of household bleach to one gallon of water. Diluted bleach is considered safe for cleaning children's toys since chlorine evaporates quickly.
Step Six
Dip toys in the bleach solution and place in the drying rack to air dry. You can also soak the toys in the bleach solution all at once and then place in the drying rack.
That's what I'd be singing if I were a toddler/kido and had these funky rain boots to play in the rain in! Super cute and super trendy, found at Modern Tots. The best part about these boots is they are fairly reasonable at $27....and yes, they even come in blue stripes for boys.
A friend of mine makes these oh so sweet designs....and I just had to let you guys know about her and her work. All you have to do is give her a name and she can write it out for you on some really cool paper. Take a close look at each individual letter...they are the words of a Bible verse. LOVE IT! So we all love the address sticker label - saves us time, right? No writing your address on all your cards and letters. I do love them and I do use them regularly, but I always feel kind of childish - putting stickers on my envelopes. We searched high and low and found these awesome stamps. Heavenly Press has about 100 customizable stamps to chose from. The stamps range in price from $28 - $40.
